DANIEL GOMES (e-bass, double bass & backing vocals)
Daniel Gomes, born in Portugal, discovered his passion for music at the age of 12. Four years later he found his true voice through the bass, an instrument that would shape his musical identity.
Originally playing the bass guitar, he later studied jazz double bass at the Escola Superior de Música e Artes do Porto. Collaborated with numerous artists and bands, both in Portugal and of course in Hamburg, since he became a resident in the city. For the past two years he has been performing with The Baarn Project, besides exploring new creative directions in jazz, funk and modern fusion.
Daniel in his own words: ‘I cannot tell you how passionate I am and how eager I am to play music with good people. I easily get inspired by the fine musicians I work with. It fills my mind and my heart with pure joy. And The Baarn Project only adds up to that.’
